Hi All

Anyone on here use cable releases for their X100's or X-Pro1s? If so what do you use?

I have been looking around the net but have only stumbled across cheapie oens which seem to be hit and miss when I look at the reviews

I've got a Nikon AR3 cable release for my X-Pro. It's a mechanical release, and screws nicely into the shutter button nice and securely.

You can get them from places like Wex for £20 odd quid or if you search on eBay there's a guy selling them on there new for about £13 quid.

Yep buy the best quality one you can afford Dan, mines an old vintage Nikon one I bought 30 years ago, still working smoothly
 
Look on eBay for old cable releases (mechanical ones), they can go for really cheap. I got an old HAMA made cable release for 99p and it works really well. :)
