Can any one recommend a specific one? I've now broken two in as many months, just cheap ones from eBay but it's annoying when you can't rely on them.
 
I got this 40 year old Bronica one that appears to be indestructible, God knows I've destroyed loads in my time but this thing just keeps on trucking.
So I'd go with branded and old, cos there's a reason its old....lol

are they all a standard thread? i need to get one for my camera.

I bought old Nikon ones. Great quality.

Cheers folks, my new purchase is coming with one so hopefully it'll last longer than the cheap ones.

Only in Germany could you have a company who specialises in making cable releases and still exist.
 
well mine turned up this morning with a little L adaptor and , as far as a cable release can go, its a lovely thing :) Seems to be well built with quality bits.
