Cable release for D80?

Looking for something cheapish, dad's going away and going to see if he can pick my Sigma 105mm up cheaper than over here as he's going to france and want a cable release to avoid camera shaking when shooting flash trails etc.
 
The wireless IR Nikon remote is pants, I had one and used it a couple of times until I realized it wasn't up for the simple job it had to do. I opted for the Phottix wireless remote from ebay about £10 iirc, and does the job just fine.
 
Yes, doesn't need to be all singing all dancing, just to avoid camera shake even when on a tripod.

:agree: or you can retune a television remote to work the D80.....honestly!

The one I did worked from about 40 feet away and from behind the camera, which the Nikon one won't do
