That looks pretty cool you know. Apart from the issue of getting the stuff back into the bottles after use cos of the tiny lids I could go for some of that. Volume seems to be a Patterson System 4 single tank full.

So many questions that aren't answered with that page.

How do the times vary with temperature (I see it is printed on the bottles but it is illegible)? There are good reasons why C-41 is a standardised process, so kits which offer lower developing temperatures are sometimes ill-advised. It doesn't seem to address that concern much!

Separate bleach fix, but how about the stabiliser part? It says "WAC" is used as a final bath after the last wash, but I can't work out what WAC actually is.

Not heard much feedback about their soft packs, although the idea is sound - as long as the nozzle is large enough for a funnel to be inserted to pour the chemicals back into.

Just had a further search, WAC is just their wetting agent. But a wetting agent as a final step isn't good for archival and stability purposes - you need a stabiliser as a final step.

Thus the better part of valour, ask some one else :D

I'm just surprised, it is evidently a good idea - but the kind of people who process C-41 at home are generally the kind who want to know the detail of these products. Let's face it, if you are rolling chemicals in a light-tight developing tank in a heated sink, you are probably slightly mad anyway :bonk:

I don't use stabiliser anymore, risking use of tetenal mirasol instead.

Wish it was 400ml though, just misses out on being able to process 4 rolls of 120 via rotary in Jobo.

Besides, with spillage, you're probably only going to have about 360-370mL left after each process, maybe even as low as 350mL towards exhaustion. As for wetting agent, no stabiliser... at your peril, really. Your negatives are much more prone to being eaten away and degrade over time.

Again, there was reasoning behind each of the steps in the C-41 process.

Mirasol has anti-bacterial so hoping that does the job. Although I don't think any images at the moment I take is worthy of being archived for the long term.
