Buzzard Perches Distance?

Just looking for advice on the safe distace from hide to perches for Buzzard photography at the moment have them 30 mtrs but finding that too far for sharp images, don't want to close for obvious reasons. Thanks Russ

Not sure I fully understand why distance is a factor in not getting a sharp picture (no heat haze atm)
I have been to hides in Spain where buzzards were coming into about 10-15 meters but they were being fed daily. Buzzards were the most wary species. Have you tried moving the hide / perch closer gradually over time?
The pictures you have posted appear to show the birds are accepting the hide, gradual approach may work
