Be wary of that seller, feedback is good but they are in HK not the UK as stated in the auction. The Phone coming from China will have foreign apps that you may not be able to delete, if they supply a foreign charger and adaptor that's actually illegal in the UK (your choice there if you decide to use it) lastly the phone at £130 less than UK retail has a high probability of being a fake.

hmm OK ta :) 272 of em sold looks good.. but the delivery date did tell me he prob hasnt got them in stock and gets them to order..

will keep looking :)
 
If it smells too good to be true....... As this one does.

I know it is a top rated seller. But how often are accounts hacked for the purpose of shifting high-value items. I also note that shipping won't take place for more than a week. Plenty of time to draw in all those lovely orders.

its def not a hacked account... but the week delivery does smell so have carried on searching :)
 
It's more likely the phone is a fake not a hacked account, I have a Chinese copy of an HTC phone which has a Galaxy Siii rom on it, apart from the fact that it's smaller, in use you'd never know it's not a Samsung.
 
Ebay is the last place I'd buy a mobile. Too many dodgy characters out there.

+1 just looking at phones on there you can see so many stolen or obviously damaged goods.

Even seen a few which openly state 'found in a taxi' etc, also lots selling phones purchased on contract which again can result in it getting blocked if they miss payments or do a little insurance fraud.
 
as mentioned in my original post.. quite happy using ebay.. not really worried and been on it long enough thanks.. but mobile phones.. i didnt know what to look out for re dodgy phones..

I think ebay is fantastic and used right with a bit of common then its a great place to deal..
 
I've been trading on eBay for over 8yrs and I would never buy a mobile phone from that place.
 
Trust me tony it's not worth the risk.
 
I bought a iphone 4s from a guy off ebay, phone is every thing he said it was and it works perfectly.
 
I have bought a couple of phones on ebay but was very, very careful about checking out the seller and only went for the ones that were absolutely spot on in every respect.

I wouldn't want to buy anything current and trendy on there though.
 
so other than ebay are there any bargain places to buy a proper samsung galaxy s3 ?

It's Samsung's flagship phone. I think you'd be hard pushed to find anyone genuinely knocking them out cheap.

I got my 1dx 500 quid cheaper than high street prices by using kerso ... theres always some deal or some way :)

had it a few months now works perfectly on all uk networks it is no different to my sons orange supplied phone uk manual and a 2 pin uk adapter plug
came quicker from Hong kong that my sons did from orange in the uk lol

Gonna get one.. its for the missus ..shes well into mobile phones not me... thanks for the link exactly what i needed ta:)
 
BTW I did order the phone from panamoz a few weeks ago now.. and it came a couple of days later.. she has had it all this time and its working perfect.. well happy.. very good price... thanks rebel t3i
