Yes
Just curious as to what most Lightroom users prefer, whether to buy Lightroom from a store such as PC World or elsewhere with box and whatever else in it or just download it from Adobe, pay the price and get the activation/serial number.

I think I might be a convert, I've been playing around with the trial version and like what I've seen so far.

Check out the price on Amazon. It's sometimes a few pounds cheaper but not much more.

Not a bad price Richard, best I've seen yet.
Cheers

What always gets me (just been looking at the upgrade to Photoshop CS5) is that Adobe charge less for the boxed version than they do for the download. How do they work that one out!

Download version comes from Eire, where VAT is higher than in the UK, And it's UK VAT that gets applied to downloads.

It is something to do with server locations and tax added to download sales or some such rubbish.

Edit - Damn, Frank beat me with a much better explanation.

Thanks for that chaps - makes sense now - sort of :)
