Buying knickers, advice needed

I have to jump on the fact that you have not worn any "downstairs front bottom" underwear for years. Explaination?

Is going commando a comfort thing?

ok confess up - who clicked the video ?

and not a single girl from Glasgow..........................

Yeah, I just clicked it... I think I've gone blind! :D

This is a great way to start a Sunday morning... The sun's out, the sky's blue, it's lovely and warm and we have female members asking for advice about knickers!

Happy Days! :D

Thank you Charlie :) Putting yourself through such a ghastly experience purely in the interests of research and to help me out – you are a true pal!

Well somebody had to help you out & it was my birthday treat.:lol:

you just know at some point, the OP is going to post a shot of a pair of knckers,

in a smallish plastic bag.
Minus the plastic bag, that’s actually not a bad idea. I currently own 6 pairs of pants, none satisfactory but all have their good and bad points. Photos might serve as a good illustration of the sort of “smalls” I’m after.

Honestly Alison, you girls today........:shake: :$

Anyway, I find the French style to be generally the most comfortable to wear for long periods. The elastic of standard styles tends to cut in to me.

The stilettoes are the problem at the moment. Just cannot get the hang of the damned things.

:naughty:

:agree:

stilettos are a nightmare, (that goes for any heels really), they kill you're feet after a while

:D

Modeling them (we live in hope) :D
I did ;) Took some selfies this afternoon depicting various knicker fails during the course of a dog walk. Some old bongy on a vintage bicycle appeared from nowhere and engaged me in a discussion concerning the technicalities (but not the morals – he was a fan) of Spanish bullfighting. I was naked at the time apart from a battered straw hat, sunglasses, a plaster cast and a single Dubarry boot (Galway, walnut, right foot). Not once did his eye leave mine, he genuinely didn’t notice my lack of clothing.

The dog very wisely distanced himself and went to lie in the shade beside the camera and tripod which I’d set up on the edge of a spinney. Ironically, shortly afterwards, the poor man was chased by a herd of bullocks. I hope my laughter didn’t reach his ears!

I didn’t accord any thought to it at the time but on reflection I suppose the situation was a bit surreal.

You walk your dog naked???
Wow, what can I say to that apart from where do you walk your dog and I will start taking mine there for her walks

..go on then.. Marks and Sparks - they do tangas, bikinis etc etc. Calvin Klein make nice tanga style briefs, you can find those on houseoffraser.com and places like asos and selfridges etc or even figleaves - they'd be the best place to hit up for undies. Also try thongs that aren't litrally strings - there are thicker ones that don't feel like you're slicing and dicing ;) again, places like dkny, elle macpherson are nicely cut for briefs/bikinis/tanga cuts. Try out TK Maxx - they have those makes for less! Hope that helps!
Helps a lot, many thanks

On your advice I’m heading off to M&S, House of Fraser, TK Maxx (always good for xx small sizes in my experience) and Selfridges in Nottingham to have a looky see tomorrow. I’ll report back!

PICTURES we need PICTURES.................

Yep, Tangas are what you are referring to, and last time I looked, M&S sold them. Also try La Senza as they usually have some good offers on!

Right Alison, you've made me look up "bongy" and "Dubarry" and I can't believe you'd suffer for your art by wearing a Gore-tex lined boot in this weather. Unless it's to somehow equalize the suffering of the other leg?

When you have a mo, have you any local knowledge about S----by Lodge? I was speaking with someone whose forebears lived there.

In the world of pants, I'm looking for cheapo ones for blokes without a transverse seam to irritate the dingleberry area when a moderate amount of walking is undertaken. I don't suffer from dingleberries (too much information?), but do suffer the irritation...

Nope, can’t get on with those at all. Crevice creep is the problem there.

Stilettos? Don’t even get me started :( A long story for another time but that’s how I ended up with a plaster cast!

This is what I like. A good thread to cheer me up while sat in hospital.

Just go "Comando" :naughty::naughty::naughty: very cool in this weather or else try the high legs.

Me, lace ones are cool and comfy also :naughty:
