I've been talked into buying a wii fit console for the family. I think it will be a more fun option (Im not really into shoot em ups etc..and I havent seen my son since he was 14 and he got an xbox...he's 17 now, so I dont want an all engrosing time consuming thing. I just want the whole family to play together)

So, am I better buying a bundle with everything in, or getting things seperately.
After doing the usual man thing and spending an hour googling, bundles seem to be around £270 for the console, board, controler and a game or two.
Anyone offer an opinion?

we bought a console with just wii sports (however tescos chucked in a few free games) we then bought a controller seperately (you will find that you need more than one contoller, maybe even one each if you plan to play games symultaniously. and then the wii fit board. we worked it out and the bundles didnt actually save much money when you worked out the cost of the bundled games that you didnt actually want

We have one. IMO the Wii Sports and Wii Fit (and the newer versions) are the best games you can buy. Have got 4 other games (like Olympics etc) and never really got into them.

Deffo get 2 or 3 controllers with motion plus (so it works with the new Wii Sports resort etc.

Amazon have the Wii (in black or white), with Wii Sports Resort and Motion plus for £149.99

We got out wii from sainsburys last november. Console, wii sports, resort, 2 other games, 2 controllers with all the stuff for about 180. It was in store only so worth a check next time you go shopping! I couldn't find anything near as good online.

Search for Wii Hombrew, get the hardware and the rest can be obtained elsewhere :)
