Business dissertation ideas help needed

Hey Guys i really hope someone can help me with this. I am doing a part-time business studies degree and i have to come up with a title for my dissertation. It can be to do with anything to do with business but due to such a large topic range my mind is completely blank! Can anyone suggest title ideas that could be interesting as i have to write 9000 words on it!!! Really quite worried about it tbh!

As far as i can gather it has to be on areas of business ie marketing, corporate social responsibility etc!!! so not sure that could fit?
 
The first thing that sprang to mind was what department of business interests you. Marketing, finance, HRM, operations etc?

Are you allowed to speak directly to a company or companies, or does your data have to be available from secondary sources only?
 
Hmmmm...... you could look at organisations and their current reaction to being "exposed" as evading corporation tax in the uk. Why did Starbucks make a payment and others not for example. Possibly congruent to their corporate responsibility and marketing srategy. Yet other organisations did nothing, why? Is it that CSR is is not a main driver of their strategy. Do they feel it won't impact their market share etc etc etc.....

Those companies have not been accused of evading tax, just avoiding it. Tax avoidance is legal but its morality is questioned by some.

What's involved in your dissertation? Do you need to do some original research or is it based on a literature review?

Oops yep have to be clear on that. However that points to public perceptions (their market) of their actions therefore the premise for research and subsequent
dissertation still stands.
