This surely has to be the best selection ever of shots from Burning Man ...
 
I've never heard of this before but it looks spectacular.
 
Great shots. I've been invited to attend this next year (by friends who've been before) ... Wondering whether to go or not ....

Go. Take the preparation very seriously, but if you have the chance, take it.

Burning Man is literally the only thing left on my "must do" list, but alas it's now never going to happen.

They went last year, and you're right, they did take weeks to prep for the event, even going to a "pre Burning Man" seminar!!. They had an amazing experience and still talk about it now. Might get myself over there next year before I'm too old!!!

Never say never! I've just turned 60 and am by no means well fixed financially, but it's still on my bucket list for now. At least I'm in reasonable shape health wise, thankfully. My friends live in Oregon and drive down in a rented camper van. Might be room for one more .....!!???
 
Great images. Fabulous event. Always wanted to go to this, and I'm not even into the whole "festival" thing. This looks like something else entirely though. Anthropologically, this has many opportunities for a documentary photographer. I'd love to go... maybe one day.
 
Had to google it, never heard of it... but wow! What fab photographic opportunities!
