Just out of interest was anyone there last night- fab evening of free entertainment with 90 + illuminated floats parading through the streets of Somerset towns to celebrate Guy Fawkes.

we lived in the olde worlde town for 4 years and watched the carnival with pleasure...its well supported and a really good evening

Went to Bridgewater last year to see this and it was great. Great photo opportunites and the 'squibbing' that they do is a sight to behold. :)
 
I'm going to Wells carnival on Friday (it's the mrs' hometown), so any tips on taking good float pics?
