Hi Guys,
Got some images that I've burned to a blank DVD so I can send it to my brother in law.
I tried it in my xbox as that's what he'll use to view them, and it doesn't recognise the disc.
If I put it in my mac, the images are all on the disc.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Burn as an ISO disc, are you using something like toast ???

think you are going to need a different solution the Mac will burn the disc to its own file system.

I use Toast, have done for years and it works great for PC, Mac and my BluRay player.

Google might throw up a couple of shareware programmes that give you a trial, other than that you will have to get a dedicated DVD burning app.

Thanks for your help.
I've got toast, but never used it.
I'll have a go and let you know how I get on.
Cheers

i'm not sure about dvd's but what i do know is the Xbox 1 will not play a writable bluray disc
something to do with copyright protection and writable media
i have made up bluray slideshows in the past and written them out as a bluray which will play on most things but not the xbox 1
no idea if dvd's suffer the same but it's worth looking in to

I tried a photo disc, DVD rom, some kind of iso disc, but the only thing that worked was when I burned it as a movie.
Now when I put it in the xbox it comes up as a slideshow and works great.
Thanks for all the help.

xbox 1 or 360 ?

never tried a dvd writable in an xbox 1

Edit.. found the answer
although microsoft state it will only play mastered bluray and dvd's it will play dvd r's but not writable blurays which i have already experienced
