Bulk buy USB sticks

Any tips on where to source 50-100? Not concerned about bespoke branding or large capacity (128mb will be plenty). Had a look on ebay where I thought I would find job lots but not really come across what I am looking for..........

I use a company called IJT for work. I buy on a regular basis, the only downside is that i think 4gb is the smallest they have at the moment, although they did have 2gb sandisk refurbished ones not so long back for £1.99

That's the sort of price I had in mind, thanks for the link, I will keep my eye on the stock levels or drop 'em a line to find out when they are back in.

I can't help you in terms of soucing from where I am, but when you do finally place an order then, IME, expect between 2-5% of them to be defective - possibly more if you go the dirt cheap unbranded route. Basically if you absolutely need 100 for an event, then order more than 100 to be on the safe side.

I recently had a delivery of cheapo no name sticks and found 150 of the 500 ordered were screwed. I basically read my boss the riot act for being a tight fisted git.

Humm... Maybe you had a bit of bad luck, but I have bought well over 1000 drives over the last few years and have found only one or two to be faulty, I think its luck of the draw. One of my friends purchased 10 sticks from eBay some time ago thinking they were 32gb each whereas infect they were only 2gb, the controllers had been flashed to state they were 32gb.

Call Morgans, I see they have Sandisk 2gb sticks in stock for £2.69 inc vat when buying over 24 of them. If you ask you might get an even better price for lots. Morgans is not the sort of place where things come back into stock, they specialise in end of line stuff.

Morgans is a clearance distributer, they can get what you want. I deal with them for work and normally if you say you are looking for something they will email or phone you back within a few days to say what they have found. As with the sticks, they do have a few sandisk ones in stock but I'm sure they are going to get more if you needed.
