Budget tablet for use as slideshow viewer?

Hi all

It has been a while since I have seen this discussed.

So, what do you use or can recommend by way of a tablet with primary use as a portfolio showing unit with a slideshow function.

Memory:- ideally SD so that cards can be swapped for different "sets" of images as appropriate?

Budget wise......is this possible for under £100 at say 10inch screen (maybe 9inch)???

The 12" HD screen is nice & crisp, and although it's quite a slow performer, that wouldn't matter for display purposes (bought mine to display music instead of having loose sheets). It takes a micro-SD card. Only hiccup is the price - mine was at £100 (£90 with a discount code) but now they're £160. Perhaps the price will drop again?

I've gotten an older Lenovo A8 running Android 4.2.2 it has a gallery app by default but has no settings controls and sadly makes images look bad. I found in the Google store a gallery app that was totally ad free but due to the Android version there was a warning that it may not work well!

Well, pleased to say it does work and images look as good as on my PC monitor :)

So all ok so far.
