Bucket list is a film about two men who share there list of things to do before they die (kick the bucket)
On a simmilar theme I have a list of targets for my photography.. I only have one left
As a sports photographer (mainly football)
I have my pictures published on too many websites to keep track.. I have my pics in football programs from non league to premiership and cup finals.. Getting pics on web sites and programs is easy enough..
Target #1 get pics in newspapers : Well I have achieved that as I am now on a retainer from my local paper who pay me monthly no matter how many pics I get published. Football and in the summer local cricket
Target #2 get my pics in magazines : Quite a few magazines have used my pics.. mostly free mags.. the conference mag a hospital mag and recently a police mag (england v scotland police at ewood park this month) also paid for work in womens football mag and a mens mag
Target #3 get my pics in books : I have 8 books on my shelf that feature pics by me. A couple have them on the front page of the bookk even and a japanese book on football mascots has my name on the outside front cover as the main contributor. see here http://www.kipax.com/books.php
Target #4 to photograph at all levels of football : I have done all leagues and international levels accept for a premiership game.. Thats the only thing left on my list.. I have done every level of domestic and international football.. I even photographed the first ever cup final at the new wembley.
Target #5 to have one of my pictures on the front page of a magazine. I got that THIS WEEK! a womens football magazine called fairgame. As soon as it comes through the letterbox its being framed.
Target #6 to have a photo exhibition : well i got a part in an exibition in one of the art gallerties in york city center.. then i got my own in a gallery in hyndburn. It ran for 6 weeks.. see here http://www.kipax.com/exhibition.php
Target #7 to win a competition : I was a member of a photo circle. I won at least one first second and third over the two years I was a member.. awards given aprox monthly.
Traget #8 to gain a league photographers licence : I already have a conference licence, FA accreditation and a UK Press card. But I want my own league licence. I am well on my way to achieving that and will have it in around 6 mths time
I set myself all the above... I am part way to achieving one and will eventually get the other thats outstanding.. All the rest of my photo bucket list I ahve done in a 5 year period..
