hi,
ive tried searching on google but came up with nothing. im looking to see if anyone has any tips on making some bubbles stand out more on some pics i took with a white background. ive tried used dodge, burn and sponge tools but they didnt really work that well

As they say "I wouldn't start from here." Bubbles are clear and they will be difficult to see against a white background.

If the photograph is already taken I would suggest you need to mask the bubbles, and then darken them slightly. I don't think you are going to have much luck by using dodge and burn.

Bubbles are not easy to photograph. If you can re shoot try a darker background, and light from the top to give a rim light effect. You probably need a large light source to give a highlight in the bubble itself. A large white card with the classic black cross in the middle to replicate a window may be a good idea.

Here's some bubbles in a glass (glass is only 2" high, so a macro-ish shot really), and this was backlit against a white background - or do you mean 'floating' bubbles as kids blow?

Try selecting just the bubble(s) and bumping contrast or running a levels pass on them to increase local contrast and make them pop a bit.

thanks guys, theres actually a child in the shot aswell but im going to try selecting ths bubbles by themselves and mess about with them that way.

nice glass bubbles picture by the way.
