BTCC Media day 2012

Hello there,

well chuffed to bits as the season has started once again but now I am in 2 minds whether to go the media day or not!! Would cost me a day off and not sure what to expect + never really been to sillystone... oops i mean Silverstone

Anyone else going or been?

I marshall various tracks aswell as taking many pictures so just wondering if its worth it. Home circuit is croft

I'm going as accredited media for an online motorsport blog. Never been to anything like this before so looking forward to it.

well im going, had the day approved by the boss, both at home and work.

If i dont like it then i wont go next year. never been to Sillystone for years though so my photos are going to be hit and miss

There is a general test in the afternoon, but the main media focus is the morning session with group shots, driver interviews.... and breakfast and lunch

I went last year for the first time and planning to again, not as crowded as a GP or BTCC weekend

my favourite thing about BTCC media day is the photo of 10000 accredited media all huddled together trying to get the same shot lol

Not as good as last year...no dessert with lunch

wasnt to impressed to be honest... was nice to play with the camera and new lens though
