A welcome return to weekend television and not a bad opening race.
Like the look of the new BMW!
Who else is watching?

I am. Not sure most of the rear wheel drive cars are liking the new design soft and semi soft tyres and the front wheel drive cars seem to be going through them at a good rate of knots.

Plato taking a double win in his mg is a good jump forward on points too.

some good racing on show, especially the ginetta juniors

Flash did well in race 2.

But an amazing come back In race 3, another lap and he kight have got the lead. Glad to see rob austin walk away from that one, he recons the damage wasnt as bad as it looked so he'll be back at donington.

Until my youngest son's mate crashed into the tyre wall right in front of us coming onto Brabham and covered us all in dust.:(
Was a bitterly cold weekends racing but glad we went yesterday and today.

He was unlucky to have that car clip him as it came back across the track.
The damage looked pretty expensive. At least he could get out easily once the door was ripped off.

I love watching the touring cars - I like how competitive it is and there's never really a clear winner in it now.

I'm hoping to be at Donington for the next round, should be really good.....fingers crossed Plato treats his MG better than his old Chevrolet 2 seasons ago lol

Only thing that annoyed me at Brands yesterday was the growing number of people having moved on from using their phones to film or photograph the action and stand there holding up a tablet. I found myself strangely wanting to run up and give them a good slap round the back of the head.

Disqualified and still a weight penalty.....

I think he'd disagree :D

Aye, time marches on:razz:

How daft a rule is that though, to keep the weight penalty?

They've always had that ruling, as far as I'm aware, since the success ballast was introduced. If the penalty is for an on track misdemeanour, it acts as a deterrent.
