There is a problem with the H5 and as yet there is no update as to when the issue will be fixed, at present they are installing the H4 with an Openreach Modem to deal with the fibre connection

Thanks for this info - think i might put up with it for a short while and see if the problems persist if i can get a new hub...
 
I've never had good experience with BT and been with them twice at home, 2 different places, once through my ex-business and now currently via a client I work with 3 days/week with. All sucked and support 100% untrustworthy, just awful. I am now at home with EE (I know, now BT too!) and before that with Sky. Both fine. Don't ask me why they can be so stable and BT couldn't be. I'm confused myself. At my ex business I was generally OK but several times a day would drop out and customers complained so had to reset router each time. At clients the service really is awful. Constant disappearing then reappearing and pretty much all day, some worse than others. I am considering shifting from EE tho stability and speed have been fine, but my free year was up 3-4 months ago so can likely get a better deal. I have had my phone through them for several years, hence the free year. I don't want to land with rubbish service/reliability again tho!
