Scenic : Coniston before the wind got up. I'd be happier with a bit more saturation so i might edit this when i'm reunited with photoshop (didnt pack a polariser - silly boy)

I can't help you with your others.

I quite like this. I know with completely cloudless skies they can be a bit featureless and IMHO it's best not to let them dominate.

However I think this needs just a little more room top and bottom and don't be afraid to take a wide bag ke and just crop it 2:1

This needs more contrast and some saturation. I do prefer the natural look rather than the forced look so well done on presenting a series that looks natuaL and true to how it was but I'd still give it a bit more.

Cpl would have worked here as would a time of day closer to sunset or sunrise

Worn respect to your sunsets. Great conditions but you need to consider the start abd middle of your image and neither, bar the colours really work. Try to use a lead in, like a pier or groynes on the beach, maybe find a water pool with reflections in it or a rock to anchor the frame.

Thanks for the feedback steve - i agree about the contrast and saturation ( I stupidly picked up the wrong adaptor ring for my Cokin system holder so ive been without filters all week) Now that i'm home i'll give it a bump in PP.

Ive got a bunch of others with varying amounts of room top and bottom , plus a set of 6 to stitch together for a mighty pano. Once i get the time i'll put them up in a seperate thread.

With reference to the sunsets I don't entirely agree I would have said that on the first one the strips of water give sufficient leading lines, I agree ref the second one, but I only posted that in response to andys comment about the sun as I tend to agree that its a bit directionless . I do have others that have stronger lead ins and/or rocks etc anchoring the frame (heysham is lacking in groynes and piers) , however these are less suitable for the theme 'watery' which is why i didnt use them here. again once i get some PP time i'll put them in a seperate thread also

As a matter of interest this was the last shot of the night , in the after glow (by this point i was struggling with shutter speed as i didnt have a tripod with me - this was the only one of the last burst which was acceptably sharp - you can see on the outline of the turret that its still suffered from a bit of wobble.) Apart from the crop to pano this is also Sooc

Love the colours in your sunsets, but I prefer the Coniston shot for the simplicity and symmetry. I'd also echo much of what Steve has already touched on so nothing further to add there!
