Just came across this chap on the tube. He has some very creative but easy photographic tutorials that are easy to follow for the ill informed such as myself. He is able to cut through the mystery of photography is an easy to understand way

Not sure about the hair though.:shake:

Now off to Amazon to order his "Understanding Aperture" book :wave:

*edit* I have suspicions the hair thing is a send up

Understanding Exp is a great read as is the more recent Understanding Shutter Speed!
 
Where can you get the Understanding Aperture book? I thought his Understanding Exposure one was great

The book is fantastic! Does anyone read "Digital Exposure Handbook" by Hooddinot too? How do they compare?
 
Have you watched the one were he's demonstrating shutter speed, he has an assistant in it with the same type of hair :D
 
Great tips, have his book Understanding Exposure on order, now ordered Learning to See Creatively too. Bryan Petersons approach is refreshing for all levels, plus I find his hair funny :)
 
After watching some of the vid's he actually started to grow on me.

Why pick the side of a motorway for a video though.
 
I always pictured him as a chubby, balding bearded guy. That hair is amazing but not best suited to the side of a windy motorway
