Fair point(s), well presentedAren't they always Mr Shoehorn![]()
You don't get much better for the theme than that Jill ...the circle of life ...wonderful ....doesn't look long till that little one enters the world, the simplicity and the b&w works perfectly.
Hi againwell it might be a pabd but I think it's a great idea ....works really well for the theme and looks good too.
Hi Jill. I was going to say, I spotted it and then the closer I looked the more white heads I saw ... 5 at last count. Very clever and as @susiejb says, looks good.![]()
Ah ha - the sign of the cross. Too focused on the white heads - which were there to throw me off the scent.BUT, where is the needle. The white headed pins are just to confuse you![]()

Good take on the theme, well captured![]()
Spot on Jill, it's better than a pabd shot imo.
Hidden ... I've found it! Ha Nice idea, nicely done![]()
Hey Jill - Now that I cant look at for too long, I thought it was the white topped pins hiding, damned if I can see a needle
Such a nice bright image, and the wide border works really well too, nice one![]()

Jill I am beggared if I can see a needle in there ! I have looked and looked but nope. Great idea for the theme, is there a needle ? Ill look again![]()

Oh Shush youPS I was going to do a cloud as in Wordsworth, but we haven't had any![]()
Hi Jill. I thought b&w was the obvious choice to compliment the pathos associated with this type of image but this one works just as well - maybe more so as the bright and happy colours contrast with the sadness of the figure. Well taken (love the shadows of those palms).
I think Carl summed it up very well, the contrast between the bright sunny day and the lone figure and empty shopping centre work really well.

Jill I agree with both Carl and Chris. Love the palm shadows on the floor
Oh Shush you
Believe me, you wouldn't want to be here this week. At 5pm yestrday it was 46C and at 11pm it had dropped to 40C aaaagh.....
Pretty much as everyone else Jill, love the shadows, the colour and the vibrancy surrounding the lonely figure.
Great image for lone, the guy looks very lonely and i love the palm tree shadows.
Great image for Lone Jill love the shadows from the trees and the pastel colours of the buildings in the BG![]()
Ah - lonely in paradise...or regretting all those impulse buys?!
I'm off to pack my thermals as soon as I finish typingBelieve me, you wouldn't want to be here this week. At 5pm yestrday it was 46C and at 11pm it had dropped to 40C aaaagh.....
Hahaaaa now that sure looks like a lonely shopping centre, now then, why on earth is it so quite, everybody getting out of the heat ??
