Bruja´s 52 (Part 2) + Texture (phew, I made it to the end)

Excellent shot Jill, I don't know much about Accupuncture, but I've heard it works and helps so it's on theme. Nicely composed and very well lit.

Sorry I've not commented individually but I've been stuck in bed since Christmas Eve so I'm going to post Texture and then catch up with you all as it's the last week for this year's 52. :banana::banana::banana:

Lesson learned this week:

I can take pictures even when stuck in bed :D which, given that's how I started this challenge back in January (as motivation to get me out of bed :lol:) I've come full circle.


I'm going to continue with the 52/2010 and I'm also going to try and do a Spanish 52 :eek: to give you some insight into weekly life here in Spain.

So fingers crossed :cuckoo:


I also want to say a huge thank you to all the people who have supported me on this challenge and I can only hope I've improved. I'm sure I have but as my own worst critic it's hard to tell.

A couple of bits of good news:

I sold a picture the other night from the exhibition I had a year ago AND
My exhibition at the Museo Pedro Gilabert in Arboleas has been confirmed. The inaugaration is on the 26th of March and it runs until the 30th of April.

So a great start to the New Year for me and I hope you are all as lucky in the things you want to achieve.

You must be thrilled to have sold a picture AND having your one-woman exhibition confirmed. What a great start to 2010. I hope it continues to shine brightly for you. :)

Pain - Ouch, not sure about teeth shots, but hey the theme was pain and that doesn't make pleasant viewing.

Health, you've got some great lighting in this shot, really good

Texture - again the lighting is superb!

Jill a final 52 shot that is absolutely lovely - the light and texture is super!

Your 52 set has been inspirational to me for both the images and the words you have treated us too.

A spanish themed 52 will be a delight I reckon!

Well done on staying the course and reaching 2010 with a great set of images!

Thanks so much Sarah and I'll try to live up to your expectations although I think most of my insights this year will be with regard to Spanish life and customs. But then,you never know when life is going to throw you a Curve :lol:

Both just using natural light Mark. Health was MrB lying on the floor with a pillow under his chest and the angle was from the centre of his lower back. Texture was the velvet on my legs while lying in bed and just using the light from the window

Well done and good luck for 2010, I'll keep an eye out for your thread. Oh, does that mean you're not continuing. That makes me sad too :(
