Brown background white

Hi all,

I quite fancy the brown lastolite background Lammypaul has for sale, but brown isn't the most versatile of colours and sometimes I want white.

If a high-powered studio flash was blasted at a brown background could it my rendered white? Would it be the usual two-ish stops over the main exposure?

The problem I see with that, Phil, is you'll need a lot of light to blow it and therefore you'll have a lot of wrap. If you've a dark wall you could try that.

Yeah, thanks Dean. I think a light grey would be a better bet.
