Hello Folks,

I have a Bronica ETRSi with the AEIII metered prism. The latter seems a little temperamental, in terms of exposures in AE mode, plus sometimes needs to be coaxed to operate. Can anyone recommend a repairer for servicing etc?

Roy you can buy a very good AEII for about £50.00,this may be the most cost effective way.

Sorry Richard, I just realised my mistake. It's the AEIII prism, not the AEII

I see, then Miles will be you best bet, great service from him.

Well I realise for quick shots auto is handy, but any reason you can't use manual if the exposure meter is working, seems a waste of money for repairs or a new one...........just for more convenience (but that's me).

I sent mine to Intro2020 for a repair once. I believe they where the authorised agent back in the day. I can't quite remember what the fault was, but they did a good job in decent time and at a fair price.

Edit: just checked their website and it looks like they longer offer the service but have suggested eurohitech.com . Alternatively send it to Miles who is very good and did a sterling job on my squealing A1.

Email sent to Miles - thanks for the recommendation.

Would you recommend the same person for a Leica M2 service? If I'm sending one thing, I may as well send two etc...

Miles is an all round craftsmen and I wouldn't hesitate to send any of my cameras to him, although I've never had him look at a Leica for me. It may be worth dropping him another email just to check though.

I'll echo what Nick said. Miles has just serviced my Hasselblad and has looked at my Canon P before with excellent results.
