As it is now almost impossible to obtain 220 film, can the 220 film back take 120 film, I know that the 120 back will not take a 220 film, but would it work the other way around.:help:

EDIT: Just to add I thought AG photographic had some 220 format film for sale when i looked a week or so back!

Agreed it is extortionate.....like most things, once availablity decreases, the cost increases.

As for using 120 film, I'd give it a go tbh.....perhaps play with a test film ( if you have an old one knocking about) to see wether there is considerable strain on the gearing etc....saves having a film jam on you whilst shooting or worse still, the back packing up!

As for any focusing issues, ....only one way to find out!
 
Given how dear the film is your unlikely to ever use the back with 220 film. I'm with them, try it you've nothing to lose you're never going to put 220 film through it!
 
Could you retool 120 to be 220 equivalent, just shorter? Take the film off the roll, cut some used backing paper and stick on the start and end of the film?
