Broken iPad question

Ryan (my two year old son) has just smashed the screen on my iPad 4 so I was wondering what the done thing is.

For the iPad rather than Ryan.

Can you get them fixed or is it an insurance decision ?

at least you know it can be done - I replaced the battery in my iPhone and it was a piece of cake, similarly a while back the screen of a then owned Blackberry.

When a friend dropped his iPad and smashed the screen he went to the local Apple Store and they gave him a replacement for a knock down price of about £150.00. Probably cheaper than the cost of a repair!

i have swapped an iphone in 10 bits for a replacement one for 130-00
