I've been trying to get on their website for a week and the site says closed for maintenance and will be back in a few minutes!
Web address shows a suspended page which I think generally means they haven't paid their bills....maybe?
Or does everyone know something about them that I don't?

When i click on the URL it says that it closed for maintenance.
 
Works fine for me too.

Have you tried refreshing the page once there?

Or try clearing your cache and then clicking again.
 
Or, even more frustratingly, it'll be in the post to you for delivery before you go on holiday but they'll eventually admit that it was never in stock and hasn't been sent.
 
I had the same problem. Only used them as they said it was in stock. Turned out it wasn't and was a month before I received my item. One firm who has lost a customer for ever. I will do without rather than use them. Rant over...

Thanks Alan. I tried to ring them yesterday as they were advertising the 14-42 Gx lens for £249. I rang for ages but no reply. After reading the reviews I'm glad they didn't answer. That's made my mind up about the Gx lens - I'll just wait until it comes down in price from a decent retailer.
 
I ordered a Hitech 10 stop from them last Tuesday. Paid by BACS transfer and its still not arrived. So i've called them and they say I need to pay them and they haven't sent it - I can prove I sent the money 1 week ago..

If the filter doesn't get sent out today then the thing I bought it for will have passed

Will never use them again
 
ha ! Amazing, pressed "post" and got an email notification of dispatch

Chances of it arriving tomorrow ? Slim...
 
I ordered a Giottos tripod yesterday from there before I read all these comments. The website said it was in stock but received an email today saying it was actually out of stock but they were expecting delivery in 1-3 weeks. Will cancel tomorrow I think
 
Good Luck, I tried for weeks to cancel and they do not reply. Not what you want to hear but they are the worst I have ever dealt with. My money will spend anywhere, but it won't be going to this company.

Had a taste of that today - won't answer the phone or is permanently engaged. Received another email today; delivery is not expected until "around the middle of April". :shake:
 
Update - finally managed to get hold of them on the phone after being continually engaged and got the ordered cancelled without any fuss.

Have re-ordered from Fotosense; although a bit more expensive at least have it in stock :)
 
Mmm, they are just as bad in my opinion. Hope you get better service.
