Has anyone been to this before?

I've just heard a colleague is going; I'm hoping it could be a job for my Canon 200mm f2 - but I'm wondering if anyone has experience of how close you can get - not looking to get covered in paint close mind you..

I don't like using my gear near dry soft sand, let alone chalk dust (or whatever it is they use) lol

I'm amazed that in tree-hugging, planet-saving, wholefood-eating Brighton there are so many people stupid enough to fork out £25 to breath in coloured dust that's thrown at them ...

Ignorance is all part of that scene. :p

Used compact off ebay, I'd suggest.

This may actually be the time to take street photography with the big long lens...

Just did that this lunch :D I'll post some in the strangers thread..

Lent a colleague the Ricoh so I could enjoy some subject isolation

Their always some risk,a few years ago i did some photojournalism work, and some of the places i when to, let just say the risk to my gear and sometimes myself were very high.

The other thing i found as those i was fully insured, it did not cover the for the circumstanced i was in at the time :)

I'm suppose to be shooting a colour run on Sunday...having second thoughts now!
