Bread & Water for me - 300mm 2.8 Ordered

Eh the lens hood is proving to be a bit of a pain putting on and taking off.

I am scared to damage it as a new one costs £300!!! :eek:

Will need to practice :)
 
The hoods on canon's big primes can be a bit funny like that. My 500 needs a certain jiggle to get it off. I've read they get easier over time but mine hasn't yet.
