Are there any current players on here that can help.
One of my relatives was keen on Bowls right up to her death some years back.
She was a keen player and had a club pin collection which she treasured. Her daughter rang me to say she had been downsizing to move and had found the collection and asked if they were of valuable.
I have no idea but said I would ask around.
The club she was a member of has been gone some time.
Two questions really
Was the swapping of club pins a thing done in competitions
Are they still in use?
A sneaky extra question - do they have value for collectors like stamps and coins. I am guessing that may be an additional query. I would gess there is a couple of hundred of them. My gut feeling is the market would be limited?
Any pointers would be great. My collecting hobby is stamps and, apart from the obvious big hitters, the value is, in many cases, less that face value.
