i have bought a couple of old bowens monolites at a bargain price. i know very little about studio light but it seems the light i am getting is flooding the room. i think this may be to o with the fact there is no reflectors fitted to the end of the unit. apparently this is an L fit. most new models are the S fit. I am hoping someone can tell me where i might find a couple of old L fit reflectors....
i am aware that there is an adapter but this is both expensive and i believe it works for converting s to L and not the other way round.
could someone tell me if the reflectors are pretty much essential or what i might be able to do...
