Are they a good system or do they limit you ? I guess you can if you want a head in a place just put it on a stand.

All overhead track systems are convenient and avoid messy cables on the floor.

But they are pretty limiting and the lights also wobble, so it's better not to use them for precise light shaping tools - OK for umbrellas and softboxes though, if you have the minimum 14' ceiling height you need

What about 12ft I have seen some at 10th I do like idea of no cables
 
Hi, I have installed Bowens Hi-glide and other sytems, IFF, Hensel, in 128 studios, nobody said, " i dont like that, take it down," save up and buy one. They come up on ebay now and then and always go for a high price, they give you more width in the studio, no cables on the floor. give the look of a pro studio. you can hang the colorama on them. you need abot 11 foot of height for it to work well.
