Both versions of Lightroom - Taking up space

Just looking through my storage on the PC and I see that I have both Lightroom and Lightroom Classic CC installed. As far as I know, I only use Classic CC. Bother versions take up almost 2GB each on my hard drive and I wondered if I could safely remove Lightroom, the version I don't use?

just as an aside .............you can get rid of old LR Libraries, (other than the one that Classic and CC are using)

and if of course all your images have been updated and brought into the Catalogue that LR Classic is using

Do you mean:

• Lightroom CC & Lightroom Classic CC, or
• Lightroom (4/5/6) & Lightroom Classic CC?

check you've got all the photos in the catalogue you wish to use. You can merger them. See how and all about catalogues here:

if you use a Mac they will be in the Pictures/Lightroom folder

It's Lightroom CC I want to uninstall.
