I think that mrs may is a lot stronger than we are giving her credit for ,she has now gotten rid of the two main backstabbers under her command , she has imho come up with a deal that while it might not be what every brexiteer wants it will probably save British jobs in the car and aerospace industries ,we have over the last 50 years fallen into the trap of allowing our main industries to be foreign owned or financed .which doesn’t leave a lot of options open unless there’s a communist style takeover and nationalisation of everything .

You can bet your last pound though that money will be made by those in the seats of power and at our expense , rest assured it will get worse before it gets better seen to many crisis over the years though to really worry about this one yet !

I fear you are really right here. The zombie government is still there and potential challengers are real weaklings who don't really want to step up and take on the responsibility. It is just so much easier to be on the back benches and talk and talk.

The way the brexit is apparently going the UK will be a 3rd rate EU colony without any representation but with taxation and regulatory burden; so by all means in such case by far the better choice would be to stay in and team up with the good new guys in Italy, Austria, Poland and Slovenia, etc to reverse the course of the union for the better.
