Especially with this being the hundred year "anniversary" of WW1. I also suspect there will be poppy donation boxes on site for the later visitors to make donations should they desire to do so.
 
Just seen on the news that they have started to remove them to be cleaned and shipped out to those that have bought them.

Donations would have been a good idea but I suspect they may be vandalised even if emptied regularly :(
