Has anyone ever heard of a problem which originates from printing borderless causing the ink pads (I think that is what they are called) inside the printer to become soaked because of overspill.

normally there will be an inbuilt count for the pads depending on the cleaning cycle etc so you'll eventually get a message telling you they need replaced. if you did quite a few head cleans in a row you'd probably saturate the pads

Thanks Ross, I have read a few artiles where people will not do borderless prints because of this issue, not sure it its hype ot what.....hope you received the prints OK

yeah they arrived at the lab but not had a chance to go get them as I've been at home with the kids. Should get them tonight.

Never had a problem with borderless prints causing anything with my printer (R2400)
