Books/Online tutorials for CS3.

I have photoshop CS3 but i'm limited to what i can do as im not to sure what most bits and peices do or how to use it! Was wondering if anyone could recommend books or online tutorials for it? As i dont was to plow through loads of stuff to then realise i didnt understand any of it.

So if anyone could help would be most appreciated. Thank you

Just an opinion, but I've always liked Scott Kelbys work, and have his (well thumbed), 'The Photoshop CS3 Book for Digital Photographers' book.
This is the one I aways used to refer to first (and still do) if I had a problem or needed a brain refresh! Now on CS4 so have graduated to his CS4 book...

When I first got involved with Photoshop (CS2) I found his book to be very clear and easy to digest hence why I have continued with him as new versions of Photoshop appeared.

Incidentally, Ebay can be quite a good source for used CS3 books - and a lot cheaper as well usually....
