Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a book for my mum for christmas. She wants to learn how to process the photos she takes and stuff. I was wondering if you had any ideas what books are good?

It depends a bit on the level she's at as well, is she a total beginner or does she have some idea of the software? Some books are aimed at the beginner others at the more advanced user, and as kman says we nned to know which version of software she has.

Theres the dummies guide to photoshop (no offence intended) it explains things pretty clearly without being too technical, Martin evenings books are pretty good but might be harder to understand if your a beginner, or scott kelbys cs5 for photographers isn't bad but probably not as helpfull or comprehensive as the dummies guide.
