Hi,

Looking for a good resource for Learning Elements 7...a book would be the prefered option...lots out there so ideal if someone can recommend...!!!

THANKS

I am still learning how to use it but found the tutorials on YouTube to be very helpful. Sorry but can help with any book info
Sometimes it is a case of simple trial and error with some experimenting added in.

Scott Kelby's books are first rate. Clear info and superbly illustrated.

I find YouTube to have a huge abundance of videos that teach everything that I've needed for LightRoom. I am sure it would have clips for Elements too.

Not as easy and convenient as a book, to snug up with in bed, but it's an option to keep in mind.

I have (for PSE5) Barbara Brundage's The Missing Manual.

I see no reason do doubt that her similar book for PSE7 is of the same standard - brilliant. She has an excellent style of writing that can only come from her thorough knowledge of the software.

This is only my opinion but you should seriously consider the book by Mark Galer. Go back to the Amazon link and have a browse at its contents. It comes with pictures to practice on and each lesson is accompanied by a DVD movie. I've got the Elements 5 version and it has proved to be one of my better buys.

Sorry me again....if you want a bit of fun check out Photoshop Elements Drop Dead Fantasy Techniques by Derek Lea. You wil pick up so so much stuff.Thats if you can get hold of a copy. Again it comes with illustrated photos so as you can practice on them.

If you buy the PhotoPlus magazine each month they show just about every process using Elements 7 which is good unless like me you use Lightroom! I'm guessing most ways of doing things is general across the different bits of software.
