Hi Guys...Delighted to have discovered and joined your merry band. Looking forward to making the step up from occasional snapper to serious photographer...well perhaps not too serious.
Have 'retired' to the South of France and have a bit more time to spend on photography and getting to understand the capabilities of my Canon 60D and EFS 18-135.
Hope to be able to post some of my efforts for a critique by people who know what they're on about. Also looking forward to learning some new techniques- particularly about flash photography which hitherto has been little more than pressing the pop-up button! I've just invested in the Speedlite 580 EX ii (gulp!) and need to learn how to use it to justify the expense, so expect lots of naive questions...
