I was thinking more of the size of boiler as if it's not a junior one then that's an incredible deal you got! Hell, even if it were a junior boiler that's still a good price.
we had a central heating installed last summer into our house which previously had no heating but did have a water boiler. total cost was about £3.5k including all pipework, radiators etc, boiler was a Worchester bosch 37i we are very happy with it, but it was through a plumber we have used a few times, very happy with the install, bills are low and the house is toastie warm
parents had a glow worm fitted about 10 years ago, never a year goes by without atleast one call out for it breaking down, they get their moneys worth from britishgas homecare!
It was the 10 year guarantee (we used an approved engineer to get it) that I liked. We also got the Worchester Bosch 37CDi after having a floor standing stanard boiler that simply consumed gas faster than it could be supplied. The combined gas/elec bill went from about £180 a month to £55 so I'm happy enough.

Not sure how many BTU etc it is - it keeps the house (3 bed semi) nice and warm and is almost silent, especially compared to the old Thorn Apollo it replaced! I'm told the electrician was paid seperately for his time and the programmer - about £150, my wife thinks.
