BMW Series 3 recall

I thought an Audi was the d******d's drive of choice these days? :p

And a remortgage when it needs tyres.

I don't think they will be that much more in 18" or 19" size than any for other barge. I would not want any larger.

Because nothing says "I am a man of exquisite taste" like buying a 4x4 from a company known for making sports cars.

you'll find they mainly survive by shifting SUVs. I have no interest in low vehicles unless its a ferrari, for display purposes.

Just saw a Ferrari on Houndsditch - parked outside Pret a Manger with a parking ticket. Should have grabbed a photo.

Expensive coffee ;)
I bet he felt a right pret on his return :D

Doubt it, they just dont care, most of these d******ds are actually bragging how they can afford a £60 coffee
Fair point, well presented ;)

Not from Pret a Manger - a quick look shows that their most expensive coffee is £2.70
You forgot to add the parking fine ;)

I sometimes worry that my driving standards have slipped in the years since I passed my test. So I was pleased the other day to find someone had left a note no my windscreen saying "parking fine".

£25 down here. As I found out when I parked in a spot that I was sure was a 2 hour one but turned out to be 30 minutes... (Had been parking there for 2 hours at a time for several months before the ticket so averaged out at about 50p/hour!)

Not bad value at all then ;)

I think its £60 up here but £30 if you pay within 7 days or some such crap

Yeah, the £25 was the early payment special offer! I was banged to rights so no point in shouting the odds, so I paid up and shut up. Bâtards are just about to make that area pay and display rather than free which is a bit of PITA since there are currently a few 2 hour slots very adjacent (which we have been using instead of the 1/2 hour slot I got ticketed in.) The new charges will make it cheaper for me to drop Mrs Nod down and pick her up later - it's already cheaper to do that than get the bus.

Just remembered that I managed to get someone else a ticket about 2 3/4 years ago when they came down to visit. Parking on the sea front USED to be free during the off season but had changed since the last time I had parked there. I think Yv's forgiven me but Jon's still not happy!!! (I did offer to pay it since it was 100% my fault, I hasten to add.)

So am I but for many different reasons!!! Maybe he's mellowing in his OLD AGE!!! ( @Yves Geza , just in case he misses this!)

But this was after your "successful" braine surgery! You made a great show of reading the parking notice and telling us it was alright, we didn't have to pay.

... An hour later, we had discovered it wasn't; we did ... and they'd made a total mess of the job and spooned out the good stuff and left just mush behind!! :banghead:

Possibly - I don't remember that much about the first month or so after the op!
