What are your experiences?

Cheers

Never heard of them, it's Google time again.

edit: shame they are not Europe based.

i like to look of the ones i've seen.

quick question, when up loading the images do they need to be 300dpi?

or is the 75dpi the photo are atm alright?

it ok - checked their FAQ and they need to be at least 150dpi - best get resizing. :(

hrmm...the picture is now 31mb - is this about right?

All i'm doing is using photoshop and changing them to 300 pixels per inch.

I've used Blurb twice, really pleased with the results. Would suggest you use express shipping unless you don't mind waiting.

cheers guys - uploaded the picture, just about to buy. :)

its just a mixture of the pictures I've taken, nothing special.

forgot to mention... make sure you go for premium paper.

Looking at their site it isn't clear if you can have a full colour photo wrapped on to the front/back cover of a softback, does anyone know?

Do a search for Blurb books on here, there is a HUGE thread dedicated to it :p

My friend did me a Blurb photobook of all of the candids he took at my wedding, I was really impressed with it, the quality was very good. I'm going to do my own now of a recent skiing trip.

Just received my book - excellent product!

I LOVE blurb. the download tool os very easy to use, akes a while uploading butthats to be expected. and love that once youve bought your own book you can then set your own price for any one else wanting to buy, has made me a small fortune through weddings.

i was very happy with the quality of printing and of the book in general.

The cover was a little dark than the picture i sent, but it still looks good.

Another positive one here. I've had quite a few books from them lately, my latest one you can see on my blog in one of the most recent posts, click the link below. I always keep my designs classic (ie simple) and use premium paper and custom logo (which just means you pay to take off their blurb logo and use your own if you wish).

Delivery is always prompt, I generally pay for economy, and well packaged.
