bluetooth problems.

I have an apple imac and wireless keyboard and mouse, but on startup it does not recognise the keyboard. I am stuck, i dont have any wired for this system, what can i do?

Once booted do they start to work?

After an hour or so booted up. it found the keyboard. It is a couple of weeks since i last fired it up, maybe thats the reason, thanks anyway.
