Having recently got an HTC One M8, I've realised that the earphones supplied with it are not great. As I have £22 worth of Amazon vouchers burning a hole, I thought I'd treat myself. I was looking at the bluetooth ones as they would come in handy.

I've had a look on Amazon but tbh I wouldn't know the good from the bad. Anyone use these type of earphones that they'd recommend?

I think you may have to shout a little louder Marc, they all must have their ear phones plugged in :D
All I know is that my son swears by his "beats" but I guess they are a tad more than £22 :D

There is Bluetooth and then there is aptX Bluetooth which is a better standard. Luckily enough, there is quite a range of gear which uses aptX and your M8 phone is one of them http://www.aptx.com/product/htc-one-m8-smartphones

Having established that, you need to have a look through the headphones which use aptX, which your linked Amazon ones are said to, but there are others which may or may not be a better choice for fit and/or street cred. ;)

Street cred, I'm sure that's very important to Marc TBH.

I have a pair of Kitsound Manhattan Bluetooth headphones. Not sure how much they are but I think they were £25 - £35 or so. Stay charged for ages, decent sound, volume knob on ears, and comfy.

Mine are for in the house ;)
 
I tend to use mine in bed if I'm watching something on ipad or listening to music. Prevents me strangling myself in the night.

I sometimes put them on with nothing playing so I can ignore karen and the kids without it seeming rude.
 
I think you can scan for other devices and then only choose the device you want to pair with., but I'm not 100% sure on interference from other devices in the room.

It's your device that will find the headphones rather than your headphones finding anything.

You turn on bluetooth on your device and it will search for things to connect to. Your headphones will come with a 'name'. It will find them and you just select that name.
 
At the risk of stating the obvious, you might like to pair them at home! :exit:
