Blue ray 3d player for under £100

Any one have any suggestions/recommendation for a blue ray 3d player? I have been scouring the net for days but just not sure what to go for? I have a top of the range 48" samsung smart tv so was looking at samsung but not fussed about choosing brand over quality.

recently - while it is not heavily over engineered in ANY way it seems to do the job for us, but it is my first bluray player so I cannot compare it to anything else..

I have the Sony 4200 which is their basic 3D player, it works fine with my Samsung tv, as stevewestern says, the build quality is a bit lightweight. I bought the Sony rather than the Samsung Bluray because I read on AVForums that some people had problems with the Samsung would not play certain new releases.

Thanks for the feed back guys. Amazon have got some good prices on there Samsung but as mentioned there seems to be such a mixed review on them. there either really good or really poor so im guessing there are a few rouge machines in circulation.

I'm happy with my Samsung Bd F5100 plus its also down £25 from what I paid 6 months ago.
it can be a little noisy on start up, but that all.

A while back, Samsung were giving a discount on another Samsung product, after you bought a tv. It meant I got a BD F6500 for £20.
Have you checked if you're eligible for that?

Which? have only 5 best buys and 3 of them are Sony. The 1200 mentioned above is one but doesn't seem to be 3D. Good news is that the S5200 is also a best buy and does have 3D and is currently £78 at Argos and maybe cheaper elsewhere?

Ah sorry I missed the 3D bit
Although they did have a 3D version for about £40 more IIRC,
when I bought that one.

I've got the Sony bdp-s5200, the picture and sound quality is excellent, it has both ethernet and built in WiFi connectivity. With things like Netflix etc built in. Not the same build quality as my old Sony Blu-Ray but good enough.
