after using the camera indoors a few days ago and forgetting to put white balance back to AUTO I went to a horsey event yesterday and came home with a load of blue pics due to the WB being set to 'INCANDESCENT'
I only took JPEG'S so cannot tweak RAW images and the only thing I can think of doing is to REMOVE COLOUR CAST in Elements 7. Its not perfect but means I can improve the pics somewhat. Any other things I can try to rescue things apart from shooting myself!!? merv:bang::bang:

You can probably do more with curves but not sure what functionality elements has. I'm afraid when shooting jpg white balance is one of the things you need to get right, very difficult to fix properly in post.

Merv it would probably be better to open up the offending jpeg image/s in Elements raw convetor, you do this by going to File >Open As and selecting raw from the drop down menu .

Then in the WB select auto and make any further adjustments from there using the Temperature and tint sliders if needed.

As a example studio shot where the WB was set to Tungsten by mistake

Then selecting Auto .
