Blue cormflowers?

Tried taking close ups of lovely bright blue corn flowers but my images look very White and washed out where they should be blue. Rest of it looks ok - the leaves etc.
What am I doing wrong?

It could be a lot of things, can you post a pic so we can see what your seeing?

You have to upload to say flickr, then go to the size you need, right click properties and copy the address of the image, then paste it into the insert image option.
